Yesterday, I was standing by the street at the backside of Seoul - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, I was standing by the street at the backside of Seoul Station and just listening to music with my headphones. A homeless man (I found out later that he was born in 1951) came up with a big coffee can asking (in Korean) for money. I shook my hand meaning to decline. He asked me, are you a priest or a pastor? I was surprised that he would know my occupation. I hadnt shaved this week (6 day beard) and I was wearing blue jeans and a pull over. I took my headphones out and asked him, do I look like a priest or pastor? He said, maybe you arent but you look like one. Then he turned and walked away. I was recovering from the shock and noticed that he walked ten meters away and sat down by the sidewalk in front of the cross walk. I decided to join him. So we sat there talking for thirty minutes or so. He was open and talkative, but he weaved things together so Im not sure if he was completely sober. I hope to go back to see him again...
