Yesterday, I was weepy. Frustrated by the new lower back injury that has me laid out and overwhelmed by the increasing spasms in my upper back, due to being flat on my back for so long, I waited until my aunt and mom left the room then cried out to God. I cant take it anymore, Lord! After He whispered His sweet assurance in my ear, He blessed me with a surprise from my hubby. The box was supposed to be delivered Friday. But God knew when I needed to be reminded that Im loved and cared for. Alan also sent cards with Starbucks gift cards to my mom, my aunt and me! He even sent me a book I received from my friend, Erin Taylor Young! I may be hurting today, but Im happy in the arms of Jesus. As Im spending time alone in the room, while I should be serving as my moms caregiver, Ive been brainstorming a new book idea. God doesnt waste our hurts or our detours in life, so I wont be letting them go to waste either. Im at peace and trusting God, but please pray He will heal my lower back strain quickly and completely. Moms got a busy day tomorrow and I really want to be there for her. Thanks, Facebook Family. :)
