Yesterday I went on a lido road trip, to make the most of these little gems before they disappear for the season. I went to three that I have not been to before; Shepton Mallet, Huish Episcopi and Wivey Pool. Because I am an idiot we arrived at Wivey Pool just as it was about to close so I missed out on actually swimming there, but never mind. Most lidos are open for a couple of weeks yet, so if youre at a loose end next weekend hit the road and show the pools in your area some love before they put their winter clothes on.
