Yesterday I went on my maiden hike with Ommiedraai Friends, what an experience, I am so sore today, after just more than 8hours we were back at our cars. A new found respect for hikers, Rashaad Phillips, Anwaaz Bent, Desiree Wilson ;) I am so sore today, I have pain in places that i never experienced. However, I feel elated that an activity I had on my bucket list for so long has been accomplished, I was very scared in places, but guess what, I will be back, it was beautiful. So many times as in running I questioned my sanity, I hate heights and couldnt look down when we were at top, but it felt great! Please join me on the next hike Nantes runners :)
