Yesterday, Jan. 9th, I posted my displeasure about Bill Mahers Islamophobia; his appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, where he asserted (about the terrorist attack on he Parisian cartoonists) that Hundreds of millions of them [Muslims] support an attack like this. They applaud an attack like this.... This really turned me off to someone I consider (as I said) one of the top political satirists we have. But then the next night was his return, after a long hiatus, to Real Time, and he backed off his previous statement, saying that the was impressed by the turn out in the streets by Muslims to denounce this terrorist act. But what really endeared Bill to me was he also went after the out-of-control cops everyone has been seeing killing unarmed black people, especially focusing on the NYPD. Watch this *New Rules* segment (Policemans Bawl), and see why I cant keep Bill Maher on my shit list for long --a great political satirist!
