Yesterday Josh had a good day despite fevers throughout the day. He communicated more than days before that and was able to shake his head for yes or no questions, squeeze my hand and say or whisper a few words. He was drinking water and juice by himself, sitting up by himself. Over night he became uncomfortable and today has been rough. He has been running fevers all day even with Tylenol. No communication at all. His heart rate was up and his blood pressure low. Gave him a bolus of fluids and that helped. There is a fine line of dehydration and too much fluids for his respiratory system. Its always a balance. They think the fevers are from the mold infection. They always do blood cultures and its always negative. Brian and I asked for antibiotics to cover if its something else. Normally they always do this but again its a balancing act for Josh and they were considering not doing them. Everyday we have decisions that have to be made that I dont want to talk about or think about. My heart is just breaking more and more everyday. Please continue to pray for Joshuas healing touch from God! I praise God for all he has done so far and for what he will do!
