Yesterday, Saint Lucia had 12 personal best performances out of 13 swims with our young talent Terrel Monplaisir and Katelin Samuel just missing out on the finals with 9th place finishes in the 11-12 boys 200 breast and 11-12 girls 100 fly respectively. Last night was a huge accomplishment for our sister islands Antigua & Barbuda and the British Virgin Islands. Congratulations to Noah Mascoll-Gomes for winning a silver in the Boys 13-14 50m backstroke and Elina Phillips for a bronze medal performance in the girls 13-14 100m butterfly. They are the first swimmers to stand on the podium for their respective countries at the CARIFTA Swimming Championships. Today we continue with 200 freestyle, 50 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 400 individual medley.
