Yesterday a 26 year old girl, who was driving in the Sydney area, - TopicsExpress

Yesterday a 26 year old girl, who was driving in the Sydney area, was talking on a mobile phone (cell phone) to her boyfriend. This unwise distraction lead to a fatal accident. The girl was the only person who died. (Her boyfriend heard the crash). When will people learn how dangerous this is??? When my husband and I were driving the other day, a girl was crossing the road, while talking on her mobile phone. This is another way to put your life in danger. When driving and also when crossing the road, you need to concentrate on those activities, not the phone. Now I am going to go, into some controversial ground here. I find it hard to understand how a car driver can say the Rosary at that particular time, since you have to count Hail Marys and also meditate on the mysteries, (without Rosary beads). I am all for the Rosary, but I suggest that passengers can say it, instead of the car driver, and also say it silently at that, so as not to distract the driver.
