Yesterday a billion hearts broke as India lost the final match of T20 world cup. Some analysts pointed out that the less-productive batting of Yuvaraj Singh cost India the match. Because, not only did he not score many runs, but he also delayed entry of Dhoni and totally kept out Raina and Jadeja, who could have probably done a better job. Drawing the parallels between Cricket and Politics, there are ‘Yuvaraj Singhs’ in every political party today, who are slowing down the campaign pitch of their respective parties by their actions, as the country is witnessing a much frenzied march to the general elections. The most prominent among them are as follows: BJP: LK Advani, MM Joshi, Jaswant Singh etc Congress: Rahul Gandhi alone is leading in this role AAP: All the disgruntled leaders who are returning the tickets and coming out of AAP SP: Azam Khan Time only will tell whose ‘Yuvaraj Singh’ is more effective than others. The world has no emotions … it only recognizes and values the winners. The losers are left to themselves to brainstorm and analyze the reasons of their failure and be prepared next time round. Let us hope the best party wins these elections…!
