Yesterday a good rescue friend, Amy Mccoy was notified of an abandoned Rottweiler at a foreclosed property. The realtor had been feeding and giving her water. Amy contacted The Rescue Project to assist in getting the dog. When we went out to meet her, she was very fearful bearing her teeth not letting us get close to her. We sat with her for over an hour gaining her trust. When we felt the time was right we put the slip lead on while Amy cut the chain. She immediately knew she was rescued. We were able to pet her and even get kisses. We named her Chloe. She is now in foster while Amy secures rescue.
