Yesterday a lady came to the farm seeking help. The storm came through and opened the gate to this area and Charlie here wandered in to the wrong place. He fell through, busted some water lines, and was stuck. Our new neighbor was panicked and needed help. So two of our caregivers headed out with Asbury Rehoboth Vol. Fire Department on the phone. They got him half way out when the VFD showed up with more rescuers to help him the rest of the way out. Charlie is safe and sound in his barn with no injuries! Sometimes tragedies happen and whether it be poodle or horse we step in to help. Rescue is a part of ones heart and no matter the size or species an animal in need is just that.
