Yesterday, a news agency NowThisNews used my photo in their online article on #IfTheyGunnedMeDown I was looking forward to having an intellectual exchange of ideas in the comment section, but was met with vile, racist comments. It hurt my feelings because Im not used to it and I had no control over it. Its interesting to me how many people prejudge young black males and automatically assume they are doing things to contribute to their own death--still scratching my head on this one.
