Yesterday, a series of DC court hearings in which our client, Guantanamo prisoner Abu Wa’el Dhiab, challenged his abusive force-feeding concluded with a closed session for the judge and each sides lawyers, where they watched videotapes showing Dhiabs force-feeding. Afterwards Jon Eisenberg, one of Dhiabs attorneys, said of the US Governments lawyers, “I just had to wonder: what are they thinking?”
