Yesterday after doing moms meds I leave and am driving down Main Street and my phone rings . . . Its my stepdad asking if I can come back and help him get mom up out of the floor. She had tripped over the edge of a throw rug. I get there and we get her up and I stayed until she eats and I get her back to her recliner and put cream on her knees to try to keep them from being so sore this morning. I get there this morning and she is sitting in her recliner and my stepdad is asleep on the couch. They had not gone to bed. Luckily she only had bruised knees and hopefully nothing broken. Bless their hearts. Getting older is definitely not easy.
