Yesterday afternoon we went for a walk into town. It had been sunny when we started off but cold. The deciduous trees and bushes are bare now. We did not sing carols on the back, too cold. Besides, with most of the caols we dont get further than the first two lines! Or I burst into an alternative version which is not for Isabels delicate ears. The 12 Days of Christmas is banned because we dont know whether lords are leaping or pipers milking. We know 5 golden wings. The town was busy. The town has some nice light decorations and some houses are well it up with lights on trees and over their doors. We have a real Christmas tree which we will plant after 12 nights. I bet the nieghbours will be glad!
