Yesterday as I was leaving Huntington Beach after preaching, I sent my wife a quick text. She had a bad headache, so I said, “On my way home to take care of you.” A quick reply came from Anna Jackson saying, “I’m pretty sure you meant to send that to Sue…But you’re always welcome at our house Ray! Hahahahah.” Today my friend Jeff Seto was kindly hanging some large curtains for us at the ministry. I noticed that he was breaking into a sweat, so I thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning. About 10 minutes later I noticed that he was sweating profusely and wondered if I should offer him a towel or something. It was then that Sue noticed how warm it was and that I had actually turned on the heating. After reading the book, two different women sent Sue sympathy cards. (BTW. Its evangelistic).
