Yesterday at noon, Jules was dilated at 3 cm. I hurried up and put my cot up in the whelping room and finished up with some last minute details. I went in to do some laundry. When I came back to check on Jules, she decided she wanted my cot! LOL! Where was I supposed to sleep...in the whelping box? LOL! She ended up staying in the box. At 8:42 pm, Jules had her first puppy! She wasnt in any hurry to have them. The last pup came at 7:30 am this morning. Jules had 11 nice-sized pups. We lost two of them, one boy and one girl. She was having trouble getting those two out...she was tired. But, we have 6 healthy boys and 3 healthy girls. All of them were so uniform in size.Very pretty pups. The other pic is the line up, all 9 of them lined up to eat. Tonight I am planning on going to my cot and turning in early. Will keep you updated!
