Yesterday at the canal, I met some people who knew the ducks and geese and had many same ideas that I do about dog areas in the area. They were on their way down the canal to go swim in the Delaware, Maddie and I walked along with them - checking now and then if Josephine the lonely goose was following us down below in the water. Never saw her. The people went down to the Delaware and Maddie and I turned around and walked back. When we got back to where we usually spend time with the ducks and Josephine the goose, we saw something WAY back down the canal where we had just come from: a V shaped ripple. I used the zoom on my camera as a telescope - it was Josephine. She DID follow us all the way down the canal - but we never noticed. She came gliding all the way back to us.
