Yesterday at the car wash I had an experience I need to share and will not soon forget! I just finished washing my truck and was parked getting ready to make a call when I heard a man calling out for what I knew was a dog...Sadie come...here Sadie I glanced over and saw a boy standing with a leash with a collar attached and no dog. I slowly slipped out of my truck and saw the dog...a beautiful young golden. I eased myself into a position between Sadie and the very busy state road Route 30. Then the unimaginable happened as the boy walked over to his dog she bolted...heading straight for the traffic. I took a few long strides, dove head first and tackled her on the grass...not 15 feet from the edge of the road. As I laid there pinning her down not sure what just happened...I heard You just saved my dogs life!...You just saved my dogs life! Thank You...I cant believe you did that! Your a hero! The point I need to get across is this...I am not a hero! I was in the right place at the right time. We can all make a difference every day if we just do whats right. When someone is in need dive in head first...the true recipient of the gift is you! All glory to God...
