Yesterday began Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and the National Days of Remembrance as the Nation’s annual commemoration of the Holocaust. We as Jews come together for celebrations and we also come together for some of the most painful and horrific times in Jewish history. We will always honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and also the survivors, as well as the rescuers and liberators. We continue to work to promote human dignity and confront hate whenever and wherever it occurs. Our Jewish history, and the history of the Holocaust in particular, cannot be forgotten or else it will repeat itself. We will always remember!
