Yesterday... ...did some work on the Idora Park Baby Wildcat - TopicsExpress

Yesterday... ...did some work on the Idora Park Baby Wildcat car that split in two. Rotted wood caused separation of the body from the chassis. The photos show some of the progress... I removed the rotted wood, fashioned new runners to strengthen the body and allow it to be secured to the chassis again. Then, I used Liquid Nails and the original screws to put it all back together. Glued & screwed! There are three coaster cars in the Baby Wildcat Train. This is the trailing coaster car and the one in the worst condition...but its strong now! Ive posted photos of the project,...the bottom of the coaster car (the big blocks with casters are only for moving the coaster cars more easily), the rotted wood and rusted screws debris,... AND! I even found a cache of treasure lodged under the back seat!!! A dime from 1971, a dime from 1979 and a nickel from 1974. I also found a 4 carat diamond that was just valued at.... Okay, never mind...Im lying about the diamond...but hey, 25 cents isnt so bad...
