Yesterday, during my atl vegfest presentation, someone asked me about soy and my thoughts on it. Saw It coming. :) I cant fit that whole explanation here, but Im told the presentation will be online. What I did emphasize to people is to do your own research of studies and white papers, not these entertaining and controversial articles. Ill say this, when I asked who read the China Study maybe 40, 50 hands flew up, which is heralded as one of the most extensive and elaborate studies in food. A certifiable thumbs up to veganism. But what is often overlooked is the prostate and breast cancer ratios of U.S. to China as it relates particularly to soy. China has claimed to eat soy 2 to 1 to the U.S. and has far less of the aforementioned cancers. I was like, Im not going to go in about my position. Folks were like, please do. I stopped short of telling people to eat soy. Eat whatever you can deal with emotionally, physically and spiritually. Anyway, I love this meme and I had a great time at the Atlanta Vegfest. Great job organizers!
