Yesterday had to abort our trip to church. We started the Jeep and engine light came on. Afraid to drive it with everything being closed until Tuesday. I have a feeling it is from all the dust. About another week or so on drive. Last week took out 51 loads of infected dirt. The yahoo who had built this had dumped anything for fill. There were rotted trees, shingles, siding, batteries, metal parts. Guys said it was the worse that they had seen. At one point had crater 12 1/2 feet deep about 50 feet long. Thought they had hit virgin soil but discovered another pocket of trash in the center that went down 4 more feet. Wed. 26 huge dump trucks came in with good soil. Ben our contractor found the dirt for free, so only had to pay for hauling., Still 500 dollars an hour was going out that day. Shouuld be done in about 1 1/2 weeks. Our neighbors K im and Kelly took me gingsing hunting up in our woods. Fun,but tiring, .So overgrown and steep. I now know what to look for. It sells for $1200 a pound, but takes a lot to make a lb. Only found about 5 that were large enough to dig up. We are going to wait a few more weeks and try again in a few week. Saw some of the most beautiful toadstools. I hear heavy equipment, so will sign off.
