Yesterday i.e on 10th Aug 14 Hyatt education society organized a one day personality development event in Gulbarga. The Objective was to create awareness and improve HDI among the Muslim youth in particular. Mr. Saleem Khaleefa and Mr. Syed Nasir Khursheed were the gentlemen who took the initiative for the event. Mr. Saleem enabled this event on the ground. These gentlemen spend money, time and efforts from their personal pocket with a sheer motive to elevate the society which they belong. #philanthropy Professional trainer Mrs. Iqra Qureshi was hired and she traveled from Delhi to conduct the hands on workshop. The event was scheduled from 10 AM to 3 AM and was publicly announced as a FREE event. Mr. Dr Qamar Ul Islam Zindabad was invited as chief guest to inaugurate the event. Mr. Md Yousuf and Mrs. Fouzia were also invited as guest of honor. The state of the art Auditorium with a capacity of 600 seats was hired in KBN college campus. It was 9:45 and the turn around was less then 1%. At 10:30 this %age jumped to 5% and at 11:30 10% of the hall was occupied. Yes! you read it right ONLY 50-60 people attended the session. The list of distinguished absentees include: The chief guest. The principal of KBN Engineering college. The principal of KCT Engineering college. The principal of KBN Medical college. The HODs of all these colleges of all the departments. The professors, asst. professors, lecturers, non-teaching staff etc. And we had so much of expectations from the students, ironically :) The good part: The event was conducted successfully with complete enthusiasm and as per agenda. The bad part: The pathetic turn out. The ugly part: Khaja education society charged money heavily for lending the Auditorium. Thats the summary of the entire event and I drafted this particularly for the NRI brothers & sister so that you are on page with all of us here in Gulbarga.
