Yesterday impersonated a divine Yogi at the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh. Was on stage with four others. Among them was Shirley Telles, the renowned yoga researcher, who is a friend. It was lovely to see her and she gave an informative brief talk. I also met a WONDERFUL Buddhist monk, Bhikku Sanghasena, the director of the Mahabodhi Center in Leh, Ladakh. What a gentle and joyful heart!! There was a shrill Reiki master from Delhi whom I will not embarrass by naming who went on with an hour long shouted lecture (and it was a good sound system) with powerpoint slides about all his power points. The fourth was a pleasant Swami who is a good friend of Swami Vedas. Bottom line is--we had a slot for 3-5 PM. I went on about 6:30 and by that time the audience didnt need another lecture. So I just did a guided meditation and called it a day. Did lots of practice!
