Yesterday in Austin, the President chided the GOP and said, Im the guy doing my job. I hate to break it to the president but acting without congressional authority on a host of legislative items is not doing his job. In fact, he is forbidden from doing so in the Constitution. So, hes not doing his job. Doing his job would be the tough work of going to Congress, working with the leaders, finding common ground and pass legislation the constitutionally-correct way. He refuses to do so. And his claim is even more laughable in light of the fact that from 2008-2010 he had a majority in Congress and a near filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. He could have tackled climate change, comprehensive immigration reform and a host of other things he now accuses the GOP of holding up. Instead, he wasted all that time pushing a healthcare bill that was too extreme for his own party. So, please Mr. President, we wish you would do your job. And in case you lost the job description - you can find it in Art. II of the Constitution. nydailynews/news/politics/obama-chides-gop-opposing-agenda-rally-like-texas-speech-article-1.1862205
