Yesterday just was not my Cheer Bears day. Her phone got stolen at the pep rally. Her Capt. sent out a TEXT message after school about changing the uniform from black to white... She did not get the message because her phone was gone. We drive all the way from Deer point lake to Arnold high (an hour drive) and she is dressed wrong. Coach has a hissy. Then toward the end of the game during a stunt another cheerleader elbowed her in the face and busted her lip wide open. Blood everywhere... white uniform. fantastic. She held a napkin on it, no time for tears or ice during a game. She cheered with a busted, bloody lip. Then we lost by 1 stinking point in the last 30 sec.... What the heck! Did she whine or complain? Nope. She wiped off her lip and kept on going. Had a shake with two of her BFF at B.K.s and called it a night around 1 am. Ya know because cheerleaders are not athletes and cheering isnt a sport Man! That girl is tougher than some of the football players and gets no pads or helmet. After such a crap day we are taking a cheer break and going camping. Blessings yall! Pics to come.
