Yesterday kerry county council voted 14-8 to call for the abolition of Irish water and water charges. This is a small victory against irish water and this heinous injustice This victory was won by the research, effort and lobbying of councillors by Brian McCarthy. His determination and commitment cut through irish waters smoke and mirrors and spin. Your protesting, your attendance in meetings, your informing of friends and neighbours about the water scam has made this possible. We ask everyone to continue to protest, continue contacting TDs and senators, come to the next meeting in your area. We would like to thank councillors Donal Grady and Sam Locke for their vision, common sense and determination. Donal brought the motion and Sam seconded it. We would like to thank councillors Daly and Ferris from bringing the ammendment to abolish irish water limited. This is why we have been quiet for the last few week. Now the council has seen sense, expect more action from now on
