Yesterday morning I had a dental appointment to take care of a couple of small cavities. As usual, he numbed me up good, from my nose to all around my upper lip...then they ask you questions...then tell you let me know if you feel anything... Oh...NO PROBLEM, itll just be a matter of if you hear it first or feel it when this Irish dancer does a reflex cut into vital body mass! But he is an excellent dentist.and takes good care of you. Afterwards Im walking out with the assistant -- I was relieved when I passed a mirror to see that my nose and upper lip werent hanging down to my chin like they felt like they were doing. She was asking me questions, making small talk, and I was trying hard not to sound like Bill Cosbys dentist patient character from his routine Himself (check out: youtube/watch?v=HVVFygfmoaY). Got to my car, tried to sip my coffee mug...could not feel if it was making contact with upper lip or was about to spill. Fortunately I had a straw in my stash of stuff at work so made a coffee sippy-cup to enjoy with confidence. 11:00, finally back to drinking coffee normally! Oh-bee-Kay-bee! :)
