Yesterday morning, I toured Padre Pio girls secondary school Masogo to see the challenges facing the school. The school is in dire need for two class rooms and completion of their laboratory. It is a young school going to have form four next year and only two classes are available.Form threes are using the staff room.We will do what we can to ensure that we have a class for form ones next year and also complete the laboratory for our candidates to sit for exams. The school also does not have power, and I have instructed my team to ensure that we have power in the school in the next three weeks.This will be done through the ongoing CDF initiative which many primary schools are beneficiaries. I later held a meeting to discuss the progress of tendering for our two schools,Koru girls and Achego girls where we held big harambees for ultra modern dormitory and a dining hall respectively. My office will communicate ground breaking days for the start of construction work in both schools when this process is satisfactorily completed.Thanks and good day.
