Yesterday morning I wrote blurbs and completed cover forms for the 8 ex-M&Bs taken by Accent Amour. I like to have stuff ready before its needed. Not because Im a brilliant organiser (I wish!) but because once I move on from planning to actually writing the book, I want - where possible - to avoid interruptions. Then in the afternoon I finished my murder plot thread, started to amalgamate it into the background and time-line plan (come on, keep up) and realised I had a problem, and it would be really hard and time-consuming trying to find the answer through Google. So I emailed the Accent Press author group, laid out the problem, pleaded for help, and within an hour a colleague had replied saying her son had been in the navy and was now a policeman and shed ask him. Isnt that brilliant? I should get his answer today. I really hope its no. Because if its yes it blows a huge hole in my plot. Watch this space.
