Yesterday morning we stopped in to say hello to our wonderful friend Penelope Haswell who has been fighting MND, she was snoozing, so we didnt see her, and today we have woken to the tragic news that she has died during the early hours of this morning. Penny, we loved you, you were the strongest, bravest woman, strong, warm, caring and loving and you made a difference to the lives of thousands of children in South Africa. Our biggest regret is that we did not know you longer. When the government didnt allow children of mixed races to share schools you were the one to defy them and open the first multi racial primary school. You leave behind you a legacy of love, respect, caring and of utter graciousness. Such a wonderfull lady, it was our privilege to call you our friend. Our very deepest sympathies to the family, Rob, Benjamin Haswell, Sarah McPhail, Daniel Haswell, Uraisha Haswell, Nic Haswell and Bobby, our hearts are broken for you
