Yesterday morning when I came out Willow did her normal routine. She ate a bit and then rolled on her back. But not for long. Her heart rate was 54 and her body temperature was 100. 8. So I put on her muzzle and turned her out into the orchard. She was as close to normal as I have seen her since this all began. She grazed a bit and then lay down next to her girlfriends on the fence line. Tenchi grazed a bit more and rested a bit more. As close to normal has her routine has been in a long time. This morning when I came out she was nickering , a good sign I thought. Her heart rate is up to 64 and when I took her temperature I almost choked. it is 103. 8. The vet wants her back on antibiotics so thats where I am going now. She is steadily losing weight noticed by the fact that I can feel her backbone for the first time since I she came to live with me. Really getting me down. Hey Universe are you listening?
