Yesterday, my beautiful best friend Kelly, turned 40 years old and had a double mastectomy. A little over a year ago her youngest daughter, Lainey, was diagnosed with childhood Leukemia and thankfully, shes now in remission. Then a few months ago, Kelly found some lumps in her breasts and come to find out, she had Stage III Breast Cancer. Kelly made it out of surgery and is recovering with her loving husband, Dave, by her side. All I have to say is this...Cancer, YOU SUCK!!!!! The first photo is me and Kelly in the back of a C130 in Afghanistan. The year was 2002. The next photo was Kelly yesterday morning as she was about to enter the hospital in Dallas and then in the hospital bed post-surgery. The last picture is with her daughter Lainey...both cancer SURVIVORS!!!!!
