Yesterday my husband, an active duty Army Soldier, found out at the last minute that he was going to have to leave this morning and be gone for 3 weeks. So as soon as we got off work he came straight home and packed his bags and decided that we would go out for a nice dinner just the two of us. See Tuesday is our Anniversary and looks like we were spending it apart once again. My husband was still in uniform being he was at work all day and after having the nicest dinner with a wonderful waiter named Nate he brought us our bill, but informed us that because him and another co worker appreciated what my husband does so much that they paid for our dinner for us to say thank you. I will admit my husband has had meals paid for him when in uniform before by other customers BUT this is the first time restaurant employees have done such a sweet sweet act of kindness! Better yet inside the bill folder was not only our receipt where it had been paid but 2 hand written notes from the two employes giving their heartfelt thanks and appreciation. To think they used their own hard earned money that night to pay for our meal left us speechless and humbled. I would love to post a picture of those notes and receipt to this post but no where does it allow me to add a pic. - Texas Roadhouse I would really like for you to nice these two employees some how. These are superstar employees in my book they went above and beyond and showed not only does the restaurant care for their service members but the employees do as well!!
