Yesterday my plans for the day kind of fell apart. So I thought to myself I will sleep in and have an easy day . Not for long :). A good friend and supplier of ours called and said I have folks from our software design team here from California, we were to meet with a large grower this morning to help develop the next level of crop management software our company is working on and he cancelled at the last minute...can you help us out ? Sure :) so I spent 1/2 my day with a software design team. The 2 ladies who head up the design of some cropping software we use had never stepped into a corn field before :(...so off we go !! To their credit they wanted to learn. But the more I think about it I really wonder how many over educated ,degreed and misinformed folks design the things that we have to use daily in our lives. These were wonderful ladies with an education who simply had no clue what they were developing. This is a huge national company that if I mentioned their name would be known by every friend I have on here. They provide products that I promise has had an effect on every person reading this. I soon realized why I get so frustrated with the inaccuracies and uselessness of some technologies that many embrace.....Good day
