Yesterday, my roofer came to repair 4 leaks. The main one was where a plywood sheet came loose from the rafters and warped, buckled and leaked. My roofer, 4 years ago said that my roof was ‘’architectural’’ and should be good for 30 years. So when I asked him why it leaked, he said the nails they used to attach it were too thin for the plywood. So to save a few bucks the roofers used cheap thin nails , wrecking the integrity of an otherwise great roof. It made me think how some believers look so good on the outside . but their doctrine is held together with cheap thin ideas, like pretrib rapture, universalism, and god is in control. When heavy weather comes, and it will, these cheap nail believers will pop up and their leaks will be filled with buckets of whoa. Perhaps then they will be ready for a good roofer to come.
