Yesterday, my wife Heather Jones Glass and I went rappelling for the first time with Sarafina Millatello and Benjamin Nevin. We truly appreciate all that they did to make this event awesome for both of us. We started out on a hill that was about a 60° angle and moved to a 20 foot wall. Heather then wanted to do the big drop - at least 35 feet straight down with free fall at the end. My fear of heights and inability to see down to what to walk on kept me from doing it. Heather, however, kicked its butt with help from Ben! I am so proud of my awesome wife and love her very much. As a result, we feel that she should be a story in Neil Brennens blog because she proves that not only are the outdoors for anyone, but the tough endeavors that go with it are for everyone too. As she said, she truly conquered her fears at Sand Run Falls yesterday! Now to move to Sullivan Run in summer and Ricketts Glen in winter! https://youtube/watch?v=fV-DE_HIfeo&feature=youtu.be
