Yesterday, my wife and I watched as Lilian Muli interviewed - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, my wife and I watched as Lilian Muli interviewed Machakos governor, Dr Alfred Mutua. Suddenly my wife said: We should move to Machakos. We then had a really good laugh then I said: We already own something there (meaning Katani), so we are covered. More laughter. You see, weve really been impressed with the way Dr Mutua has started his work as governor of Machakos. He is so focussed on his job and the visions he has are really spot on, such as having a health clinic, a dedicated police vehicle and a dedicated ambulance in every location. These are not hard things to achieve and to see them pursued in a strategic and deliberate manner is really heartening. There were other grand visions which he elaborated ably and with passion, including attracting many businesses from Nairobi and even creating housing solutions for Nairobi workers. In any case, Machakos is just next door and commuting should not be difficult. But what maybe really got to us is the fact that Dr Mutua bought second hand Subaru Outbacks for his executive team rather than going for brand new fuel guzzling prados, pajeros or landrovers. Here is a Kenyan leader with a difference. IT IS POSSIBLE TO REINVENT LEADERSHIP IN KENYA GOVERNOR - PLEASE LEAD US ON.
