Yesterday our baby bunnies moved on to their new carer/home. I am sure they will be well loved and cared for. Our 6 baby emus are all doing really well and appear to have settled since their arrival. They spend the day out in their pen with plenty of food and water and are happy to settle in their box (under the kitchen table) nice and warm of a night time. We have chosen their forever home and tomorrow I shall relocate them on my way to Adelaide. No photographs of little Adrien as yet. The poor darling is struggling and at present it is taking all of our time to get him on the good road. Needless to say we dont have time for much else nor for taking photos. At present we think we are winning the battle but only time will tell. Not a good time for me to have to drive to Adelaide tomorrow to have all my stitches out although I know our precious little joey will be in good hands. Terry is more than capable of taking care of him and with the help of our wonderful French helpers (Fanny and big Adrien) our little man and all of our other animals will be well cared for. I cannot thank/praise Fanny and (human) Adrien enough. They have been an absolute blessing to have with us during this really hectic time. Thank you all for your messages of love and support for our ever growing menagerie. I will try to find time to answer each of you as soon as I can but it may not happen until I get home either Thursday or Friday. Although I am looking forward to the nearly 900 km drive each way but really dont like heading off when we have a little furry one who is not doing so well. Please send all your love, positive thoughts and prayers to little Adrien and his beautiful human carers (Terry, Fanny & big Adrien).
