Yesterday our cadets traveled all over Central Pennsylvania to enjoy their end-of-year class trips. The rainy day altered some of the original plans, but each class still had the day off of classes and the opportunity to have some fun! The junior high cadets went to Ronks, PA, to the Strasburg Railroad Museum. The boys also had a blast experiencing a 45-minute ride on a steam locomotive through the Amish countryside and enjoyed a feast at Hershey Farms Restaurant. Our 9th grade cadets set out to Indian Echo Caverns, in Hummelstown, PA, where they toured the limestone caves and learned about the history of the caverns. Afterwards, cadets went to Hershey Chocolate World and created their own, personalized chocolate bars! Cadets in grades 10 through 12 spent their class trip in Lancaster, PA, beginning with a trip to the movie theater to see a movie of their choice, then shopping at Park City Mall and finishing with a favorite cadet activity, dinner at a Chinese buffet!
