Yesterday our office closed early and went for a fabulous ride on the new Tucson Streetcar to celebrate winning the 2014 Pima County Small Business Award. I decided to document the journey of planners and designers as we traveled through our land use and landscape plans in one of our fabulous projects, the Tucson Modern Streetcar. In addition of being amazingly skilled, talented and creative artists and scientists in the fields of planning, landscape architecture and urban design, our leadership team includes Jack Neubeck former Broadway singer, performing Broadway favorites from his CD About Time. With his amazing voice guiding the journey, this ethnographic short film documents the lives of those creative souls with whom I spend most of my days. If they seem like ordinary people, look again! We share worlds upon worlds of creativity. In addition to what we produce at our design studio in downtown Tucson, we are artists, singers, creative writers, musicians, performers, dancers, bikers, community organizers and visionaries.
