Yesterday our ponies had their feet trimmed, and recently they have all been drenched for worms. They are doing really well! Merlin is slowly packing on some muscle, and I was hoping to walk him to the nearby beach today, but rain stopped play. The two girls Arwen (Shetland) and Eowynn (Welsh) I have to watch dont get fat. Eowynn is approx 18 yrs old now, so we dont let anyone ride her, she is retired, but little Arwen the boss of this paddock, is a lil Madam, but as soon as her halter is on, she changes into the most well behaved lil mini you could wish for. Both girls came here in such a state, dreadlocks on their manes, and Arwen was terrified of the halter. It took months of work to be able to approach her with a halter in our hands, and now she just walks up to us, never afraid anymore. Thank you Daniel. xx. Merlin gets exercised often with walks to local beaches, and is very slowly starting to pack on some muscle after his awful injury. He is getting there, and loves going out. We could really do with another rescue horse so Charlea and I can ride out together... but are not going to buy one... one is out there with our name on, lol. Such an awesome way to relax and unwind in the afternoons. We now have 6 free paddocks for the ponies rotation after our recent downsizing and successful rehoming, and we plan to build another shelter for next Winter. They are doing so well, and we love them all.
