Yesterday some of you may have noticed hatred thrown at The Pulse - TopicsExpress

Yesterday some of you may have noticed hatred thrown at The Pulse from local Andrew Snyder. He blocked me after a unnecessary attack related to how he has been ignored from joining The Pulse group. A couple months ago he decided to be disrespectful to one of the other three venue operators for reasons I was not involved with. The result was removal from The Pulse group. Id like to take the time to post this to mention again that I have never talked to Andrew Snyder a day in my life besides a simple hello at the door when entering The Pulse. I do not know him and I know barely anything about him. Why he felt the need to call out a stranger on social networking for something I didnt play a role in? I dont know. What I do know is we do not support hate towards each other at The Pulse, any other local venue, or even daily life if you want to go that far. Why did I feel the need to make this statement? Our local music scene is not about hate. If you dont know someone or they dont know you, dont worry about it. Dont worry about other people seeing it online. Know who you are and stay true to yourself. Almost everyone is a supporter locally and there are hardly any haters. I will always support The Pulse, my fellow operators at the venue, friends and strangers who continue to come out and enjoy the free food, refreshments, and music at a donation-only price, the bands who are willing to play and care enough to go on stage and create memorable experiences. You are all a part of The Pulse. Hate is lame. Respect is EASY. Even if I dont know you, Im going to respect you as an individual. Were not about putting you down. If we were, we wouldnt be having our tenth show in April or have over 100 people out to current shows compared to the 40 or 50 people at the first two shows. Thank you for reading and thank you for supporting The Pulse.
