Yesterday started out sort of rough for me. Did not have a good night Wednesday night at home with my asthma so I did not get a lot of sleep plus the fact I was very groggy and soar. The day however turned out beautifully. After a nap on the bus on the way to Chicago I was feeling a little more charged for the day. Got to hang out with some great people at Murphys Bleachers and then off to watch the Chicago Cubs play the Colorado Rockies at Wrigley Field. Then after another nap on the bus leaving Chicago, stopped at the house and saw all that they had gotten done on Wednesday and Thursday. It wont be long now and I think I will be moving in. Thank heavens. The interior doors are all painted and hung. The window blinds are all hung. The shutters are put up on the outside of the house. The appliances were all installed. The medicine cabinets are installed. The ceiling fans all have blades. The pull down attic stairs are installed in the garage ceiling. The siding has been repaired on the east side of the house. Garage is mostly cleared out. Now with just some electrical work in the garage to make the outlet work for the garage opener and another outlet installed in the empty box that will be finished out there. Electrical outlets and disposer switch for the kitchen island and that will be finished. Crown moulding and toe kick cut for the cabinetry and the microwave rangehood hung and the kitchen will be finished. Shower curtain rods installed in the bathrooms and that will be done. All the outlet covers and switch plates installed and we are good to go. Very excited. After a total once over cleaning job of sweeping, dusting and window cleaning everything should be good to go. I can hardly wait. By the end of August I should actually be HOME!
