Yesterday started the Premiere 17u National Championships in Missouri. Game one late last night BY lost 4 - 1 vs one of the top teams in the country, Houston Kyle Chapman. there starting pitcher was a rising HS Senior who was sitting 91 - 95 and topped out at 98. Vin was 1 - 3. Today BY bounced back with a 2 - 1 victory on Vins 2 rbis. Todays opposing pitcher was only throwing 84 - 88. LOL Next game at 5pm tonight.. Todays games were played at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College - My first baseball trip I didnt go... Wish I was there!! Gamechanger - The Bayside Yankees Underclass Prospects get 8 strikeouts from Dylan Lawerence, win 2-1 over Texas Stix 17 A great effort by Dylan Lawerence carried the Bayside Yankees Underclass Prospects to a 2-1 win in seven innings over Texas Stix 17 on Thursday. Lawerence worked out of seven tough spots for the Bayside Yankees Underclass Prospects . He pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs on one hit. Lawerence faced his trickiest spot in the fifth inning. The Bayside Yankees Underclass Prospects held off Texas Stix 17, as Texas Stix 17 was unable to overcome a two-run first inning deficit. Texas Stix 17 scored one run in the first on an error. Unfortunately, Texas Stix 17 wasnt able to take the lead back. The Bayside Yankees Underclass Prospects never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on a two-run single by Vincent Napolitano. The lone run of the game for Texas Stix 17 crossed the plate in the first inning on an error.
