Yesterday the Cardiologist informed us they found a small hole in Jurs heart. These holes are very common and generally go unknown in 1 in 4 people. Most never have an issue with it. However, this is the only thing they could find responsible for his stroke. They decided they are going to patch the hole. This is not an open heart procedure. They will do this Monday. On the plus side...... WE ARE GOING HOME! The doctors and therpaist are so impressed by his recovery that they do not think he needs to do the intensive in patient therapy. He will be able to do therapy closer to home. He will be released later this afternoon. Jur will be able to attend his nieces birthday party Saturday :) We are super excited to get home and see how things go. He will do great as he is already able to walk on his own. He just needs someone by him due to his balance being off and he does not have full function over his foot yet. His toes are wiggling now each time he tries. We are soo lucky he is having such a quick recovery. Hell be walking little Diva in no time!
