Yesterday the House of Representatives returned to our districts once again failing to act on #UnemploymentInsurance. Thousands of 3rd District residents dont know how theyre going to put food on the table for their families or pay their rent, and the situation grows worse with every passing week. When there are three jobseekers in America for every job available, I support a comprehensive jobs package that includes investments in education, research, infrastructure, and manufacturing. Until this situation improves, to deny #UI to people who would otherwise fall into complete destitution is cruel and fiscally unwise.
