Yesterday the Seacoast Men of Harmony (the chorus) gave a long concert, nearly everything we know, it seemed, at a retirement home in Kennebunk. Good audience, great fun, and our first appearance wearing our new shirts. Afterward, Whatever Four (the quartet) and wives went to Newicks for a farewell dinner for Peter, our lead singer. He and Diane are moving to California within two weeks. It was a wonderful evening with great people and even some farewell harmonizing. But losing Peter is a serious loss, and the end of Whatever Four. Unless....
