Yesterday, the U.S. Army launched two stationary unmanned aircraft in the Washington D.C. area, which were put through a number of demanding drills at Dugway Proving Ground in 2013. The aircraft are part of the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System, or JLENS.
